Billericay Sloping Garden

by

With a six metre level change from front to back, the existing topography of this garden certainly presented a few design challenges. However, in equal measure, it also presented the opportunity to design a really exciting multi-level and multi-function scheme. The focus of our design was primarily on developing an entertaining space for family and friends and giving reason to journey through the garden. We linked the styling of the garden with the contemporary nature of the property and interior design, picking up on strong geometry and restrained architectural detail. We continued this through the planting design by focusing heavily on evergreen structure and designing speciment trees with strong multi-stemmed architectural quality.
