An Outdoor Room

The brief for this garden was to make an elegant contemporary - style garden with a visual link from interior to exterior.  This space is an outdoor room with two entertainment spaces, one of which creates an outdoor lounge. Planting includes hedging and climbers to break up view points and blur boundaries as well as planters with shadow gap detailing that cut through the terracing, supporting the creation of different spaces. The effortless link between home and garden was made my creating carefully placed focal points and focus working beautifully with the architecture of the house.
